The Honorary Vice Consulate of San Isidro has resumed its operations in Argentina, with Ing. Paolo Alliata di Montereale taking up the role of Honorary Vice Consul. The Consulate General of Italy in Buenos Aires announced that the office will open to the public starting Tuesday, February 18, located at Primera Junta 675, San Isidro.
During its initial phase, the Vice Consulate will welcome visitors on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. It will provide important services to Italian nationals living in San Isidro, San Fernando, Tigre, and sections 1-3 of the Paraná Delta islands, including passport issuance, civil status updates, and registry services for Italians living abroad (AIRE).
In future phases, the Vice Consulate plans to expand its services to include signature authentication and certifications of life existence for pension-related purposes.
Carmelo Barbera, the Consul General of Italy in Buenos Aires, expressed his satisfaction with the Vice Consulate’s reopening. He emphasized that the office will enhance access to essential consular services for Italian nationals in the northern districts of the Capital, wishing Honorary Vice Consul Alliata di Montereale a successful tenure.
