The return match is scheduled for March 16 at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi. The Starlets scored two goals in the first half from players Ednah Nasipwondi and Joan Ogola, establishing a significant advantage going into the second leg.

Head Coach Mildred Cheche expressed pride in her team’s performance stating, “The match was tough but the players gave it their all and we got the win away which is very important. We have another game at home; it’s not yet over; we are focused on getting a good result.” Midfielder Lindey Wee Atieno, who assisted the second goal, reiterated the team’s determination by stating, “The game wasn’t easy, we promise to do well in our forthcoming matches; we are very ready.”
