Oriole Resources Highlights Strong Prospects for Cameroon Gold Project

Oriole Resources PLC announced promising drilling results for the Mbe gold project in Cameroon, with high-grade gold intervals detected. CEO Martin Rosser emphasized the project’s strong potential, citing multiple successful intersections contributing to their geological model. The drilling program, currently over 30% complete, is revealing significant gold mineralization, creating excitement for future results.

Oriole Resources PLC’s CEO, Martin Rosser, expressed satisfaction with the recent drilling results from the Mbe gold project in Cameroon, emphasizing the project’s strong potential. Recent data revealed that drill hole MBDD003 intersected a significant interval of 4.24 meters at 7.7 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold, including a notable section of 1.72 meters at 18 g/t gold alongside several extensive zones of lower-grade mineralization.

Rosser stated, “We are very pleased with the latest results from the second scissor pair of holes at Mbe, which continue to demonstrate the project’s tremendous potential.” He added that the high frequency of successful intersections is quite promising for their inaugural drilling program. The current drilling at the MB01-S target is over 30% complete, with approximately 2,200 meters drilled across seven holes.

The drilling results have showcased gold mineralization along a strike length of no less than 200 meters, extending to a vertical depth of about 290 meters. Drill hole MBDD004, which was drilled in an opposite direction to MBDD003, also yielded several gold intersections, such as 3.00 meters at 0.99 g/t gold and 4.60 meters at 0.53 g/t gold, with a notable 1.20-meter high-grade interval at 1.38 g/t gold.

Although MBDD004 presented fewer mineralized intersections than expected, it offered vital structural information to enhance the geological model. Rosser highlighted the purpose of the scissor hole design, which was to acquire essential geological data to fine-tune their model based on drilling rates from the rig.

Oriole Resources has completed two additional drill holes, with a third underway, anticipating further results in the second quarter of 2025. The team is focusing on identifying high-grade zones within broader, lower-grade mineral envelopes to refine their exploration approach effectively.

Owning 90% of the Mbe project, Oriole Resources is conducting a fully funded initial drilling program in collaboration with BCM International, which holds a 10% interest and could earn an additional 40% through up to $4 million in exploration expenditures. Rosser conveyed enthusiasm about future results as drilling advances, underlining the possibility of substantial gold mineralization in the project.

Oriole Resources is optimistic about the Mbe gold project, supported by promising drill results indicating significant gold mineralization potential. The company’s strategic drilling program, in partnership with BCM International, aims to clarify the geological model and target high-grade zones, with additional results expected soon. Overall, the indications of gold mineralization across the site enhance the prospects for operational success.
