He emphasized Nujoma’s vital role in history, stating, “He has rightfully earned his place among Africa’s most consequential nation-builders.” Anwar reiterated Malaysia’s support for Namibia, referencing the nation’s participation in the United Nations Transition Assistance Group, which aided Namibia’s journey to self-governance.
