Anthony Chukwunonso Ikeanyionwu, an aspiring filmmaker, describes the Nigerian movie business as extremely aggressive and fraught with setbacks.
In a current interview, the self-taught movie director mentioned he used his background as a communications knowledgeable and marketer to pursue a profession within the movie business.
Ikeanyionwu, who has labored on critically acclaimed productions, spoke about his profession path and mentioned that filmmaking is basically a collaborative artwork type that embraces the concepts and contributions of the forged and crew.
“The movie business is a troublesome enviornment, filled with rejections, funds constraints and manufacturing challenges. However I’ve learnt to be resilient and persevering. As I mentioned earlier, constructing a powerful community is essential and has been instrumental in my journey,” he shared, aiming to encourage the viewers along with his dedication.
He additional famous that as a filmmaker, he strives to discover common themes that resonate with the viewers and tailor them to the Nigerian viewers, whereas sustaining international attraction.
“Whether or not it’s themes of affection, identification, justice or resilience, I need to delve into the human expertise and encourage reflection and introspection. My strategy to storytelling entails creating genuine characters, compelling tales and immersive worlds that permit viewers to attach emotionally and intellectually with the story being advised,” he added, aiming to stimulate the viewers’s mind.
In keeping with Ikeanyionwu, his journey in Nigerian cinema started in his childhood when he first got here throughout a digicam. That was when he knew he had discovered his objective in life.
