The Chairman of the Ifelodun Native Council Improvement Space of Lagos State, Olufemi Okeowo, on Wednesday commenced the disbursement of scholarship allowances to college students and different social safety interventions as palliatives to fight financial hardship.
The Senior Particular Assistant to the State Governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat, highlighted the highlights of the interventions by way of a put up he shared on his X deal with on Wednesday.
In response to his put up, about N10 million has been put aside for disbursement to 200 needy college students of upper establishments who’re residents of the LCDA.
“As we speak, the Chairman of Ifelodun Native Council Improvement Space, Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, is introducing large palliative measures for folks.
“N10m can be disbursed to college students and residents of Ifelodun LCDA in larger establishments (100 college students now expanded to 200). N10,000 for 500 youths in Ifelodun LCDA for six months.
“N50,000 every for 100 small merchants. Social safety for younger households within the Ifelodun LCDA.
N100,000 money switch to farmers in Ifelodun LCDA. N100,000 money switch to excellent vocational college students.
“1,000 for weak households in Ifelodun LCDA monthly, to succeed in 6,000 households in six months. Free check-up and primary remedy for six months. And lots of extra initiatives, together with the development of a brand new fashionable main healthcare middle, one borehole per ward (seven) and the rehabilitation of main faculties,” Gawat wrote.
