The Nigeria Safety and Civil Protection Corps, Lagos State Command, has embellished 790 promoted officers within the command.
In response to an announcement by the state NSCDC spokesperson, DSC Abolurin Oluwaseun, on Friday, the award was made on Thursday on the state command headquarters in Alausa, Ikeja.
Oluwaseun stated the State Commander, Usman Alfadarai, suggested the promoted officers to justify their new ranks with skilled, operational and administrative achievements and be good ambassadors of the power.
“The promoted officers shouldn’t view the promotion as a bonus to intimidate their colleagues or as a cause to undermine the skilled ethics and apply of our extremely revered and valued service.
“Justify your new ranks, with larger skilled, operational and administrative outcomes for the service and maintain the flag flying,” Alfadarai stated.
