He emphasized that those who have taken arms against their adversaries would be integral partners in forthcoming government frameworks.
Burhan stated, “The army and the state leadership will not abandon those who fought.” He also pointed out that the military would collaborate with various groups supporting the army, including civil support forces and the Popular Resistance forces. Additionally, he outlined plans for amending the 2019 Constitutional Declaration and establishing a civilian government while ensuring military non-interference in its functions.
The leader rejected any form of reconciliation with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), committing to recapture all territories, specifically mentioning Geneina, the capital of West Darfur. The military reported regaining control over significant areas in Sennar and Al Jazirah states and aims to advance toward al-Rahad while lifting the siege on al-Obeid city.
In previous statements, Burhan dismissed the possibility of the NCP returning to power, asserting, “You will not have another chance to rule over the remains and blood of Sudanese people.” He added that the NCP must prepare for electoral competition with other political entities to participate in governance. He emphasized that no faction should dominate the current political environment.
