Fujifilm has announced the upcoming release of the FP-ZUH6000, an ultra-short-throw projector capable of high-definition 4K image projection. This innovative device features the unique “folded two-axial rotatable lens,” allowing for flexible image projection from various angles, ideal for immersive spatial designs in commercial and artistic environments. The projector is slated for launch in summer 2025 and will be exhibited at the Integrated Systems Europe 2025 event in Barcelona.
The FP-ZUH6000 utilizes the latest DLP® technology, significantly enhancing color reproduction by about 1.5 times compared to previous models. Its advanced optical engine also ensures smoother gradation expression. With a brightness of 6000 lumens and a compact, lightweight design (about 17.5 kg), this projector is tailored for easy installation in diverse settings, allowing users to create large-scale visuals in limited spaces.
This marks the first projector in Fujifilm’s Z Series to support 4K resolution (3840 x 2160). The design allows for extensive lens shift capabilities, with 82% vertical and 35% horizontal adjustment, facilitating efficient image positioning without needing to realign the projector itself. Users can also opt to conceal the projector body, enhancing the immersive experience of their displays.
Fujifilm’s Z Series projectors, which debuted with the world’s first “folded two-axial rotatable lens” in 2019, have been recognized for their flexibility and exceptional spatial effects. The FP-ZUH6000 aligns with growing demands for high-quality, immersive projections in environments such as galleries and museums, affirming Fujifilm’s commitment to advancing spatial production technology.
Fujifilm has been at the forefront of projector technology, particularly with the development of its Z Series, which incorporates innovative lens mechanisms for multi-directional image displaying. The need for immersive spatial design has surged, with applications expanding into commercial facilities and art installations that require seamless projection across various surfaces. The FP-ZUH6000 is positioned to meet this market demand with its advanced features and high-quality output.
The Fujifilm FP-ZUH6000 represents a significant advancement in projector technology, combining 4K capabilities with a revolutionary lens design to offer versatility for immersive environments. Emphasizing color accuracy and ease of installation, this projector is set to enhance visual experiences in diverse spaces, reinforcing Fujifilm’s role in the future of spatial projection. The upcoming launch and exhibition at Integrated Systems Europe 2025 will highlight its innovative features to potential users.
