Nahid Rana was selected by Peshawar Zalmi during the PSL draft, which is important for his career. The last league match for Peshawar Zalmi is set for May 7, leading up to the playoffs and final on May 18. Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe team is scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on April 15 for their Test matches, complicating the decision for the BCB.

He has only participated in two of five matches for the Abahani Cricket Team as part of his workload management.
