Jaishankar’s meeting with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha included discussions on the ongoing peace negotiations. He also noted the opening of the new Consulate General of Ukraine in Mumbai, which aims to bolster bilateral engagement and facilitate visa-free travel protocols.
With Thailand’s Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa, Jaishankar explored opportunities in digital cooperation, connectivity, food security, and the broader BIMSTEC partnership, promising productive exchanges to enhance regional collaboration.
In his interaction with Peru’s Foreign Minister Elmer Schialer Salcedo, Jaishankar discussed avenues for deepening political, economic, and infrastructure ties. They also marked an agreement for information exchange between the archives of both countries, promoting further bilateral cooperation.
The Raisina Dialogue, held from March 17-19, serves as India’s leading platform for discussing critical geopolitical and geoeconomic challenges and is organized by the Observer Research Foundation alongside the Ministry of External Affairs.
