The BYD Seagull has officially launched in the Moroccan market, offering two versions powered by BYD blade batteries, with driving ranges of 230 kilometers and 300 kilometers. Under DC fast charging, the vehicle can charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes, making it a competitive option for users seeking efficiency in urban mobility.

Since its entry into Morocco in July 2023, BYD has successfully introduced several models, including the Han, Tang, Yuan PLUS, Song PLUS, Seal, and Seagull. These vehicles reflect BYD’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the Moroccan new energy sector.

Adil Bennami, General Manager of BYD’s Moroccan partner Auto Nejma, stated that the Seagull is designed for urban use, blending advanced technology with practical design. He highlighted that this electric vehicle embodies the philosophy of enhancing life through technological innovation. Furthermore, the Seagull is equipped with a durable body structure, six safety airbags, and a 10.1-inch adaptive rotating screen, enhancing safety and user experience. The smart connectivity system supports Android Auto and Apple Carplay, and features intelligent voice control for a seamless driving experience.
