Hossam bin Nasser Al-Amri won the gold medal in speed skating, while Al-Bara bin Malik Al-Batashi took home a bronze in cross-country skiing. Ritaj bint Sultan Al-Salmiya also earned a bronze medal in speed skating.
Elated by his success, Hossam Al-Amri expressed deep gratitude to his coach for the unwavering support, conveying pride in representing Oman internationally. Coach Safwan bin Abdullah Al-Balushi emphasized that winning the gold required extensive dedication, focused training, and encouragement to help athletes face challenges and cultivate positive attributes.
Faisal bin Hamoud Al-Harassi, Deputy Head of the Delegation, stated that these medals reflect the hard work of both athletes and coaches.
