The Iraqi national handball team will participate in the 10th Arab Cup in Kuwait from May 4 to 12. Their training camp was conducted under Croatian coach Berkovic before this championship.

The Iraqi Handball Federation announced on Thursday that the national handball team will participate in the 10th Arab Cup. The tournament is set to take place in Kuwait from May 4 to May 12.

The Federation’s statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), highlighted that the timing of this championship coincides with the International Handball Federation Week.

Before this event, the Iraqi team completed a five-day training camp in Najaf Governorate, where they trained under the guidance of Croatian coach Berkovic.

The Iraqi national handball team is gearing up for the upcoming 10th Arab Cup in Kuwait. Their recent training camp has prepared them for this event, which also aligns with International Handball Federation Week, marking a significant time for the sport.
