In the men’s 10-kilometer race, Yasser El Chachaoui won first place with a time of 27 minutes and 21 seconds, complemented by strong performances from fellow countrymen Mohamed Aït Mamas and Ismail El Kharchi, who swept the podium for Morocco.
In the women’s division, Rokaya Moukaim demonstrated her skills, finishing first in the 10km race with a time of 34 minutes and 37 seconds. Furthermore, the Moroccan dominance extended to the 5-kilometer races, where Amine Souida secured the men’s title with a swift 14 minutes and 45 seconds. Notably, Emirati runner Hamid Al Moualla followed with a commendable time of 15 minutes and 41 seconds.
On the women’s side of the 5km race, Polish athlete Emilia Mangilinane claimed victory at 22 minutes and 11 seconds, while Hessa Al Jassmi led in the Emirati women’s category, finishing at 23 minutes and 48 seconds. In the seniors and residents category, French competitors also excelled, with Jean-Claude Haramburi winning the men’s division at 16 minutes and 58 seconds and Latifa Saroukh taking the women’s race in 25 minutes and 33 seconds.
