Great Quest Discovers New Gold System and Expands Omatjete Project in Namibia

Great Quest Gold has identified a new gold mineralized system at its Omatjete Project in Namibia, expanding its coverage by acquiring an adjacent tenement. Soil and rock sampling have revealed significant gold anomalies and mineralization, prompting ongoing drilling and future exploration plans.

Great Quest Gold Ltd. has provided an update regarding its Omatjete Project in Namibia, announcing the identification of a new gold mineralized system. Furthermore, the company secured an earn-in agreement for an adjacent tenement, which extends its coverage of the Okondeka Fault Zone by 35 kilometers. This move significantly increases the exploration potential in an area rich in mineralization.

Soil sampling at the Omatjete Project revealed a gold anomaly measuring 4.2 km by 0.8 km. Rock chip sampling returned a peak gold value of 9.95 g/t Au from altered biotite schist, indicating a significant concentration of gold. These results emphasize the promising prospect of mineralization associated with the nearby Okondeka Fault Zone, host to the Kokoseb gold deposit.

Drilling commenced to explore in-situ gold mineralization, focusing on soil anomalies in the Manga area. A total of 11 reverse circulation (RC) holes were drilled, totaling 1,795 meters, revealing extensive sulphide mineralization. Notable intersects included 138 meters at 0.22 g/t Au from Hole MRC006 and 18 meters at 0.5 g/t Au from Hole MRC010, showcasing the potential for gold in the region.

The newly acquired tenement, EPL4817, will allow Great Quest to explore 35km east of the Manga Prospect. Belmont Mineral Exploration, Ltd., through a binding earn-in agreement, will gain a 51% interest by investing $400,000 in exploration within two years. This acquisition aligns with the company’s strategy to enhance its gold exploration portfolio.

In the coming months, Great Quest plans to conduct a high-resolution drone-based magnetic survey, detailed geological mapping, and RC drilling in the newly acquired area. These efforts aim to understand mineralization controls further and increase the potential for new discoveries. Quality control processes were employed following strict standards to ensure the reliability of the results obtained from sampling.

Great Quest Gold Ltd. remains committed to advancing its mineral exploration initiatives across various projects. The company is focused on enhancing its gold and lithium asset portfolio in Namibia, Morocco, and Mali, positioning itself as a key player in the mining sector.

Great Quest Gold Ltd. has made significant strides in identifying a promising gold mineralized system at its Omatjete Project in Namibia. The acquisition of a new tenement enhances its exploration capabilities, particularly along the Okondeka Fault Zone. With ongoing drilling and sampling efforts, the company is poised to expand its gold production potential in this lucrative mining territory.
