Organized by the Muslim World League, the inaugural sessions underlined pressing issues affecting the Muslim community worldwide, including conflicts in Palestine, Sudan, and Syria.
Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Asheikh, delivered pivotal remarks focusing on the role of Islamic scholars in fostering unity. He urged the audience to elevate wisdom over division and emphasized the importance of mutual trust and brotherhood among Muslims. Al-Asheikh stressed the rejection of extremism and the need for evidence-based guidance within Islam.

He stated that true unity and coexistence do not necessitate homogeneity but rather a mutual understanding and respect.
