Kazakhstan and Morocco will implement a visa exemption for ordinary passport holders starting on March 19th. This agreement aligns with earlier visa exemptions between Morocco and Turkey, as well as Azerbaijan. During meetings, Kazakhstan reaffirmed its commitment to Morocco’s territorial sovereignty, enhancing diplomatic relations.

The mutual visa exemption between Morocco and Kazakhstan is set to take effect on March 19th. This follows similar agreements established with Turkey and Azerbaijan, which started on August 28, 2024. During a recent meeting in Morocco between Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Murat Nurtleu, and Morocco’s Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, the date for this visa exemption was officially announced.

Kazakhstan’s support for Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty marks a significant diplomatic relationship, underscoring its growing influence in both Europe and North Africa. The upcoming visa exemption signifies stronger ties and collaborative opportunities between the two countries.
