Aftermath Silver Reports Strong Drill Results from Berenguela Project in Peru

Aftermath Silver reports exceptional drill results from the Berenguela Project in Peru, confirming high-grade silver and copper mineralization. Notably, hole AFD100 yielded the longest copper intercept and recorded the highest silver assays in the project’s history. Ongoing metallurgical tests aim to enhance resource extraction and product development.

Aftermath Silver has announced impressive results from the Phase 2 diamond drilling program at the Berenguela silver-copper-manganese deposit located in Puno, southern Peru. CEO Ralph Rushton discussed these findings with Proactive, highlighting confirmed high-grade mineralization of silver and copper. The recent step-out drilling has extended the deposit’s known resource significantly.

The drilling program’s standout result came from hole AFD100, drilled 50 meters east of previous work, which yielded the longest copper intercept observed so far, measuring 156 meters with a grade of 1.12% copper (Cu), 290 grams per ton (g/t) silver (Ag), and 7.3% manganese (Mn). Notably, AFD100 also recorded the two highest silver assays in the project’s history, including an exceptional interval of 1.95 meters at 14,252 g/t silver from 29.30 to 31.25 meters.

These results exhibit considerable silver and copper enrichment in the Eastern Zone of the project, indicating potential for further exploration. Additional assay results from the ongoing drilling program are expected shortly, providing deeper insights into the deposit’s viability. Moreover, metallurgical testing is currently in progress, aiming to refine silver and copper production while also assessing manganese for battery-grade and fertilizer-grade applications.

The recent drill results underscore Berenguela’s potential as a major silver-copper-manganese deposit. Aftermath Silver’s focus on enhancing its critical metal projects aligns with the global demand for such resources, particularly for renewable energy applications and advanced technologies.

Overall, Aftermath Silver continues to make strides at Berenguela, confirming high-grade mineralization and expanding the resource base. This progress further solidifies the company’s strategic direction in advancing significant projects in the mining sector.

Aftermath Silver’s latest drilling results at the Berenguela Project in Peru reveal high-grade silver and copper mineralization, particularly from hole AFD100. With ongoing metallurgical tests and further assay results forthcoming, the project shows promise for expanding its resource base. The focus on critical metal recovery positions Aftermath Silver favorably within the mining industry amidst rising demand for these essential materials.
