From 2022 to 2024, coverage for the third dose of the pentavalent vaccine soared from 79.9% to 110.4%, indicating a higher than expected population of eligible children. Likewise, BCG vaccine coverage increased from 69.7% to 107% during this timeframe, showcasing effective community initiatives.
This success stemmed from the work of OAFRESS, which focused on identifying and vaccinating children missing doses. They successfully vaccinated 985 children, with many being either partially vaccinated or unvaccinated.
