On March 23, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held discussions with counterparts from Saudi Arabia and Egypt regarding the recent escalation of violence in Gaza. They condemned Israel’s actions and emphasized the need for regional cooperation to address the conflict.
In his conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Araghchi urged neighboring countries to take unified steps against Israeli attacks. Faisal echoed this sentiment, reiterating Saudi Arabia’s condemnation and the importance of coordination to prevent further hostilities.
Araghchi also spoke with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, condemning Israel’s renewed offenses and the obstruction of humanitarian aid, which he described as a serious violation of the ceasefire with Hamas. Abdelatty highlighted the necessity for continued diplomatic efforts to mitigate the crisis.
Both ministers from Egypt and Iran agreed to keep an open line for further discussions on ongoing regional issues, signaling a commitment to collective action in response to the Gaza situation.
