Lenox Shuman, Chairman of the Liberty and Justice Party (LJP), criticized the Alliance For Change (AFC) for what he termed as “divisive rhetoric” aimed at undermining national unity regarding Guyana’s sovereignty. This response came after the AFC issued a release questioning the government’s management of the border dispute with Venezuela, which Mr. Shuman deemed an attempt to inflame divisions within the nation.
