Notably, he discussed peace negotiations with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, Andrii Sybiha, emphasizing the inauguration of the new Consulate General of Ukraine in Mumbai, which aims to enhance bilateral relations.
Jaishankar expressed appreciation for Sybiha’s insights on peace talks and highlighted the recent protocol agreement facilitating visa-free travel for officials.
During the event, Jaishankar also met Thailand’s Foreign Minister, Maris Sangiampongsa, discussing cooperation on digital initiatives, connectivity, food security, and their partnership within the BIMSTEC framework.
