Four Teams Progress to Final Round of FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers

Nigeria, Cameroon, Guinea, and Zambia qualified for the third round of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers, each achieving significant victories in their respective matches on March 14, 2023. Zambia’s path to the third round was marked by a 1-0 win over Tanzania, courtesy of a goal from Masela Sekeseke in the 53rd minute. With an aggregate score of 4-0, the COSAFA U-17 champions will meet the winner of the Benin vs. DR Congo match in their next qualifier.
