Previously, the Tunisian Golf Open was held at El Kantaoui in 2015-2016 and at La Cigale Tabarka in 2024, making 2025’s event at The Residence Golf Course its debut.

Pro-Ams will precede each tournament, including the Tunisian Golf Open Pro-Am on March 19 at The Residence Golf Course, featuring 24 participating teams.
The field for the Tunisian Golf Open comprises leading players from the 2025 Alps Tour Order of Merit. Key participants include Quentin Debove (France), Javier Barcos (Spain), Alvaro Hernandez Cabezuela (Spain), and Luca Galliano (Switzerland), with Gianmaria Rean Trinchero, the defending champion from Italy, set to return and defend his title.

The tournament format includes a 120-player field featuring national competitors and amateurs, played over 54 holes with individual stroke play, and a cut to the top 40 professionals after 36 holes. The prize fund totals €47,500 for first place, complemented by points in the Order of Merit.
