A welcoming ceremony for President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan was held in Paris, featuring honors from French President Emmanuel Macron and an honorary guard. The event included the performance of national anthems and concluded with a procession to the Elysee Palace for negotiations.

On March 12, a formal welcoming ceremony took place at the House of Honor in Paris for Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Uzbekistan, during his state visit to France, as reported by the presidential press service. French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed him with an official reception.

An honorary guard from the French Republican Guard, along with personnel from the land forces, navy, and air force, assembled to honor the esteemed guest. The national anthems of Uzbekistan and France were performed by a military orchestra while the guards marched ceremoniously before President Mirziyoyev.

After the official presentation, both presidents walked past the honorary guard to greet the members of their respective delegations. Following the ceremony, President Mirziyoyev proceeded to the Elysee Palace with an escort of cavalry guards and motorcyclists for high-level discussions.
