Egyptian wrestler Ashraf Mahrous, popularly known as Kabonga, has achieved remarkable feats of strength, setting three world records recognized by Guinness World Records. His record achievements include pulling a two-ton locomotive using only his teeth in under 40 seconds, as well as the heaviest rail pull and the fastest 100-meter vehicle pull.
On Thursday, Mahrous showcased his strength at Ramses train station in Cairo, pulling a 279-ton train with a rope held by his teeth for nearly 10 meters (33 feet). He even repeated the feat using a strap around his shoulders, much to the delight of the gathered crowd.
In addition to his recent records, Mahrous is the president of the Egyptian Federation for Professional Wrestlers. He has previously set records for cracking and eating 11 raw eggs in 30 seconds in February 2024 and pulling a 15,730-kilogram truck with his teeth in June 2021.
Dawlet Elnakeb, one of the event’s organizers, revealed that Mahrous trained for just 20 days prior to this event, suggesting that his extraordinary abilities stem from his “abnormal strength.”
