Luca Marini will test in Brazil after the Argentine Grand Prix, returning to the circuit where he earned his first MotoGP Sprint podium. He will ride a Honda RC213V instead of a Ducati. Post-race, Marini heads to Brazil, where he will be the first current MotoGP rider on the new track slated for the 2026 Grand Prix.

Luca Marini will participate in testing sessions in Brazil following the Argentine Grand Prix. This weekend marks Marini’s return to the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit, where he previously achieved his first MotoGP Sprint podium, albeit riding a Honda RC213V instead of his usual Ducati.

After a commendable 12th place finish at the Thai Grand Prix, Marini is optimistic about his performance in Argentina. “In Thailand we were able to accomplish a very good weekend overall, so now flying to Argentina I am optimistic we can continue in this way,” he noted.

Marini expressed confidence about adapting to the new Honda, emphasizing that extensive off-season preparations have positioned the bike well for performance. “I don’t think arriving there ‘for the first’ on the Honda will be a problem,” he stated. He hopes to replicate his past success, aiming for another positive weekend.

Post-Argentina, Marini will be testing at the Goiânia International Racetrack, preparing for the 2026 Brazilian Grand Prix. While there are no specifics on the bike he will ride during testing, Marini will become the first current MotoGP competitor to experience the Brazilian circuit, which is returning to the calendar. “After Argentina, I will go to Brazil for the first time to try the new track we will race at next year – an exciting trip!” he remarked.

Luca Marini is poised to build on his momentum from the Thai Grand Prix as he returns to the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit for the Argentine Grand Prix on a Honda. His preparations for the new motorcycle model reflect his readiness for the upcoming season, with a subsequent test planned at the Goiânia International Racetrack in Brazil, marking a significant milestone ahead of the circuit’s MotoGP debut in 2026.
