The epicentre was situated in the Muri area.
The second tremor, recorded at 6:20 a.m., had a magnitude of 4.1 and struck the Baglung district, located about 300 kilometres from Kathmandu. Its epicentre was identified in the Khukhani area. Authorities are monitoring further developments and effects of these quakes, but as of now, there have been no casualties reported.
