Having debuted in 2009, Amir has played 36 Tests, 61 ODIs, and 62 T20Is for Pakistan, contributing to notable victories including the 2009 T20 World Cup and the 2017 Champions Trophy. His last match for the national team occurred against Ireland in the 2024 T20 World Cup in June.
