Araghchi affirmed that while Iran resists U.S. pressure, discussions with other powers can yield positive results.
In response to a letter from Trump warning of military action if negotiations do not commence, Araghchi reiterated that direct talks with the U.S. would not take place under current circumstances. He argued that the U.S. must adhere to fair negotiation principles and abandon its threatening approach. Iran is committed to resisting U.S. pressure and seeks respectful dialogue instead.
Addressing threats from Israel regarding potential military action against Iran’s nuclear facilities, Araghchi asserted that such a program cannot be destroyed through military means.
