They pointed out that the statement lacks any reference to Hamas or the recent October 7 massacre, emphasizing the long-standing manipulation of Palestinians by Arab nations.
Moreover, the Foreign Ministry stressed the need to consider U.S. President Donald Trump’s Gaza plan, which they argue should be encouraged, suggesting it presents an opportunity for Gaza residents to exercise their free will. They declared that Hamas’s aggression towards Israel has had a destabilizing effect on the region, and their continued rule in Gaza hinders the possibility of regional security.
The ministry concluded by urging regional states to move beyond historical constraints and work collaboratively for a secure and stable future in the Middle East, emphasizing that Hamas must not remain in power for peace to prevail.
