Hakuziyaremye has a dynamic career background, including her role as Minister of Trade and Industry from October 2018 to March 2021. She later pursued a postgraduate degree in international management in the U.S. and returned to the Bank of New York before joining Fortis Group.
After working in Paris, she returned to Rwanda as a senior advisor in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she contributed to Rwanda’s representation in the UN Security Council. Her experience in foreign affairs enriched her understanding of Rwanda’s ambitions. Eventually, she founded an advisory firm and worked with ING Bank before her recent appointment.
