Bahrain Celebrates Kuwait’s National Day with Strong Diplomatic Presence

On February 25, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa represented Bahrain at the Kuwaiti National Day reception. He conveyed congratulations to Kuwaiti leaders and recognized the longstanding ties between Bahrain and Kuwait. On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa attended a reception at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Bahrain to celebrate Kuwait’s 64th National Day and 34th Liberation Day. Accompanying him was General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Interior. They were warmly received by Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain, who acknowledged the importance of this event.

During the reception, the Deputy Prime Minister conveyed the Crown Prince’s congratulatory messages to Kuwaiti leadership, including His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, and His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince. He highlighted the enduring relations between Bahrain and Kuwait and emphasized cooperation for mutual progress.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla particularly pointed out Bahrain’s commitment to celebrating Kuwait’s national events, which showcases their historic and cultural ties. He recognized Kuwait’s significant role in regional cooperation and development, commending its contributions to the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The Deputy Prime Minister also praised Kuwait’s achievements and its international status as a peaceful nation dedicated to humanitarian initiatives under the leadership of HH the Amir.
