India Condemns Pakistan for Falsehoods About Jammu and Kashmir

India’s Permanent Mission to the UN criticized Pakistan for perpetuating falsehoods regarding Jammu and Kashmir, labeling it as a “failed state” reliant on international aid. Kshitij Tyagi asserted that Pakistan’s military-driven lies undermine its credibility on human rights issues, while India emphasizes its integrity and progress in the region. Tyagi urged Pakistan to focus on governance instead of anti-India sentiments, reiterating that Jammu and Kashmir remain integral to India.

India criticized Pakistan for spreading misinformation regarding Jammu and Kashmir, labeling Islamabad as a “failed state” dependent on foreign aid. Kshitij Tyagi, India’s Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva, condemned Pakistan for propagating military-driven falsehoods, particularly in response to accusations from Pakistani Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar about human rights violations in the region.

Tyagi argued that Pakistan misuses international forums for anti-India rhetoric while neglecting internal crises. He asserted that the countries should prioritize governance and justice rather than attacking India. “It is regrettable to see Pakistan’s leaders and delegates continuing to spread falsehoods handed down by its military terrorist complex” – Kshitij Tyagi.

Despite the allegations, India maintains that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of the country, highlighting significant advancements in stability and development in the region. Tyagi suggested that recent economic and social progress contradicts Pakistan’s claims, stating that achievements reflect the populace’s trust in the government’s efforts to eradicate instability caused by terrorism sponsored by Pakistan.

The Indian diplomat emphasized Pakistan’s lack of credibility regarding human rights abuses, pointing out the country’s history of minority persecution and harboring of terrorists. He reiterated, “As a country where human rights abuses, persecution of minorities and systematic erosion of democratic values constitute state policies… Pakistan is in no position to lecture anyone” – Kshitij Tyagi.

India’s focus remains on democracy, progress, and dignity for its citizens. Tyagi contrasted India’s positive governance with Pakistan’s instability, urging the latter to shift focus from anti-India obsessions to providing justice and governance to its citizens. Earlier, India’s Ambassador to the UN reiterated Kashmir’s status as an inseparable part of India, affirming this position during a UNSC debate.

In summary, India’s diplomatic response condemns Pakistan for its continuous dissemination of falsehoods about Jammu and Kashmir. India asserts its territorial integrity and highlights achievements in governance and development unconnected to Pakistan’s criticisms. The statements reveal Pakistan’s internal failures, contrasting India’s commitment to democracy and progress. The call for Pakistan to address its own issues emphasizes prioritizing genuine governance over anti-India rhetoric, reinforcing India’s stance on Kashmir.
