The Climate Mobility Fellowship (CMF) for 2025-2026 is calling for applications from passionate young leaders interested in climate mobility. This fellowship, hosted by the Global Centre for Climate Mobility (GCCM), aims to equip selected candidates with essential skills, networks, and knowledge necessary to formulate effective solutions in this critical field.
The fellowship spans one year and is integrated into the Climate Mobility Academy (CMA), targeting youth from Africa, Latin America & the Caribbean, and the Pacific. Participants will gain both theoretical and practical experience through training, participation in international climate mobility events, and engaging in real-world projects. A stipend will be provided to support fellows throughout the program.
Twelve fellows will be selected, including four representatives from Pacific Small Island Developing States (SIDS). The program will focus on enhancing expertise in climate mobility governance, policy formulation, and research, while enabling active participation in global policy discussions.
The fellowship will run from June 2025 to May 2026 and will be conducted in both in-person and virtual formats. Eligibility requirements stipulate applicants must be aged between 18 and 30, proficient in English, and either residents or nationals of the specified regions.
