The African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights conducted a Promotion Mission in Lesotho from January 29 to February 2, 2024, facilitated by the Government’s support. The Commission acknowledges the Focal Points from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Law and Justice for their invaluable assistance, allowing for significant interactions with several government and independent representatives to gauge the human rights situation in the country.
