During a recent phone conversation, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji explored potential solutions to the situation.
The cancellations were enacted by Lebanon’s Roads Minister due to pressure from the Israeli regime, which alleged that the flights were intended for the Hezbollah resistance movement. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei condemned this as a violation of international law and Lebanon’s sovereignty.
