During a briefing that lasted until about 2 a.m. on Friday, Tinubu was informed by Minister Tuggar about the AU summit and noted diplomatic victories for Nigeria, including the re-election of Ambassador Bankole Adeoye as the African Union Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace, and Security. Additionally, Nigeria has maintained its position on the African Union Peace and Security Council, emphasizing its leadership role in promoting peace across the continent.
