The Indian High Commission recently hosted a workshop for Tanzanian Members of Parliament (MPs) in Dodoma, aimed at showcasing the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing parliamentary functions. Key attendees included India’s High Commissioner to Tanzania, Shri Bishwadip Dey, the Speaker of the National Assembly Dr. Tulia Ackson, and Deputy Speaker Mr. Mussa Zungu. Professor Raghunathan Rengaswamy from the Indian Institute of Technology emphasized AI’s growing importance across various sectors, discussing its role in enhancing efficiency and decision-making processes.
