On Thursday, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala presided over a signing ceremony for significant agreements aimed at strengthening bilateral relations. This event took place during al-Sudani’s official visit to Prague.
The agreement includes an air transport accord between the Iraqi and Czech civil aviation authorities, as well as a memorandum of understanding between the Iraqi Ministry of Oil and the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Further, the ceremony featured several additional memoranda, including those focusing on cooperation between the Ministries of Interior in both nations, collaboration agreements between the Iraqi and Czech Federations of Industries and Chambers of Commerce, and a letter of intent with the Iraqi Ministry of Environment.
This signing ceremony marks a significant step forward in Iraq-Czech relations across various sectors, particularly in aviation, oil, internal security, and environmental cooperation.
