Protests also erupted in Bango village, where residents blocked the EN102 in Bungane, similarly protesting the absence of electricity. Police intervened to manage escalating tensions, leading to the safe removal of barricades and restoration of traffic flow.
Further unrest was noted in Mandlakazi and Chókwè, where residents used logs to block roads in protest against rising costs of essential goods. Authorities successfully restored peace through dialogue and engagement with the community.
