As hostilities continue, civilians face further risks from unexploded ordnance, exemplified by a recent incident in Gereida, South Darfur, where two children lost their lives due to such remnants. More than 13 million individuals are currently in need of assistance to address explosive hazards in Sudan, yet funding for humanitarian responses remains critically limited.
