Veteran Nollywood actor Amaechi Muonagor has handed away on the age of 62 after a protracted sickness.
This was disclosed on Sunday by a social commentator, Morris Monye, by way of his X deal with.
Muonagor is alleged to have suffered from kidney failure and was on dialysis.
The sudden information of his demise comes simply days after a viral video wherein he requested for cash to assist him bear a kidney transplant.
Monye wrote: “Heartbroken by the information of Amaechi Muonagor's passing.
“He was a gifted Nollywood actor whose presence on our screens was actually masterful.
“This tragic loss underscores the necessity for higher well being care in our nation.”
The Information Company of Nigeria reviews that Muongor, a local of Idemili, Anambra, was born on August 20, 1962.
He was an actor and producer. In 2016, he was nominated for AMVCA 2017 Greatest Actor in a Comedy.
In 1989, after his youth service, Muonagor began working for the Information Company of Nigeria. Just a few years later, he left his job for an performing function in his first movie as Akunatakasi in Taboo 1, a Nigerian movie.
