Well-known Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, often known as Davido, says he’s now shifting his focus to his American dream, stressing that he has conquered Africa.
The “OBO” crooner mentioned his aim is to collaborate with creatives all over the world.
In a current interview with Billboard, Davido mentioned he’s at present engaged on two albums for Africa and America respectively.
He mentioned, “I need to drop this album by the grace of God. Hopefully we get to #1. I simply need to share nice concepts and nice music with different artists, affect different artists, write and produce for different individuals. Simply go to the dream. I lived the African dream, now I'm making an attempt to realize the American dream.”
On his relationship with American artists, Davido mentioned: “I believe I join with artists from Atlanta, particularly as a result of I lived there for about 4 or 5 years. I at present have a house in Atlanta, so on the subject of American tradition, I realized essentially the most within the South. So I believe I can relate higher to the artists from Atlanta [Young] Legal and being round individuals. For instance, I knew Gunna earlier than he or I obtained away.
Davido was born in Atlanta, USA, however moved to Nigeria as a toddler.
