Prime Nigerian singer Godwin 'Kabaka' Opara has handed away.
Derda Promotions, Kabaka's document label, introduced his demise in an announcement on Friday.
The chief working officer of Derda Promotions, Ammarachi Anyanwu, disclosed that the musician died on Thursday.
Nevertheless, the reason for his demise was not revealed.
The assertion reads partly: “Derda Promotions is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our esteemed artist, Godwin Kabaka Opara, an icon who pioneered and revolutionized Highlife music, on March 21, 2024.”
