The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority has warned house owners of personal jets with non-commercial flying permits in opposition to conducting business flight operations and threatened stiff penalties for non-compliance.
This was contained in a press release signed by the authority's Director of Public Affairs and Shopper Safety, Michael Achimugu, on Wednesday.
He burdened that PNCF house owners are prohibited from utilizing their plane to move passengers, cargo or mail for cost or compensation (business actions or constitution companies).
He mentioned the directive is in step with Part 32 (4) of the Civil Aviation Act 2022, stressing that the NCAA will take enforcement motion in opposition to any PNCF holder discovered partaking in unauthorized operations, together with suspension, revocation or revocation of their license for non-Industrial flight.
“The general public is hereby notified that it’s unlawful to interact PNCF holders for business functions,” the assertion mentioned partially.
He hinted that NCAA officers have been deployed at Normal Aviation Terminals and personal wings of the airports to observe the actions of the PNCF holders.
Achimugu reiterated the NCAA's agency stance on zero tolerance for violations of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Laws 2023, stressing that the NCAA would persist in implementing strict compliance by imposing applicable sanctions.
