Dozens of residents of Wurna village on Friday blocked the Katsina-Dutsinma freeway in Katsina State to protest the alleged incessant assaults by bandits on their group.
The villagers stormed the freeway as early as 9 a.m. and began bonfires consisting of dried objects.
The event brought on many street customers, particularly industrial autos, to drive by means of the realm looking for different routes to proceed their journey.
The residents alleged that bandits had been constantly attacking and raiding their group in current occasions.
