President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has issued directives for the rapid fee of excellent electrical energy payments owed to the Abuja Electrical energy Distribution Firm (AEDC).
This was said in a press assertion on Tuesday by Bayo Onanuga, Particular Adviser to the President on Data and Technique.
In accordance with Onanuga, the President's directive follows the reconciliation of accounts between the State Home Administration and AEDC.
He defined that opposite to the AEDC’s authentic declare of N923 million, the excellent invoice of the State Home stands at N342, 352, 217.46.
He mentioned that is evident from a letter from the administration of AEDC to the Everlasting Secretary at State Home, dated February 14, 2024.
In the meantime, the Chief of Workers to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, has given assurances that the debt shall be paid to AEDC earlier than the top of this week.
