The Nationwide Company for Meals and Drug Administration and Management (NAFDAC) on Tuesday seized 79 baggage of counterfeit “Tomato Rice” throughout a latest operation in Maiduguri, Borno State.
NAFDAC stated its surveillance crew found that Triovee Restricted was illegally packing uncooked rice in unauthorized branded baggage at their manufacturing unit on Ahmadu Bello Manner.

The company said that its crew subsequently evacuated the branded baggage and recovered 79 unsealed counterfeit branded tomato rice price about N5,135,000.
